Route 47 runs from Newport to Fishguard and forms part of theÌýCeltic Trail WestÌýwhich runs from Chepstow to Pembrokeshire. From Fishguard the route takes you inland through the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and on to Carmarthen, Llanelli and Swansea.ÌýThe route then takes you into Newport and onto the famous Transporter Bridge where Route 47 links to Route 4.
